Smoke & Heat Detectors

A heat detector is triggered when there is a rise in temperature that is beyond a pre-set level. However, heat detectors cannot detect smoke. Heat detectors employ electro-pneumatic and thermocouple technologies for their working.
These two detectors are not interchangable, every building needs smoke detectors – however heat detectors are a good addition depending on the circumstance.
